Marilena Fox

You probably have seen Marilena Fox name on many emails that come under the heading of CUPE Local 4000, she is currently your recording secretary/ correspondence officer and takes her role very seriously. Marilena has been involved with Local 4000 prior to amalgamation was past president of CUPE Local 3474 which represented the Riverside Hospital. She was a steward, chief steward, director and 2nd vice president prior to her current roles. For the past two years she has chaired the CUPE Ontario Women’s Committee and sits at the CUPE National level with the Women and Gender Right’s Committee. For the future Marilena would like to see the local grow and make our presence known not only with each employer but with the community as well. Have ever member within this local have a voice, be informed and be present so that we can stand united and make a difference in our work and community.
