62nd CUPE Ontario Convention

Yolanda McLean was voted in as CUPE Ontario President.. She is the first Black woman ever elected President to any part of our union. Dawn Bellerose was voted in as CUPE Ontario Secretary-Treasurer, the first Indignons Person elected in this role.

Attendees also took to the streets, rallying against the ongoing privatization of Ontario’s health care system.
