Rob Gauthier

Rob Gauthier was acclaimed into the position of President in May 2023 after serving as Vice-President since 2011.  Previously served as Unit D Chief Steward (Support Services – General Campus TOH) since 2005.  In his tenure with L4000 Rob has been chair of the Redeployment and Injured Workers Committees and has participated on Policitcal Action, Health & Safety, Stewarding and Publicity Committees.   He has been with The Ottawa Hospital since 1998 and holds a full time Medical Device Reprocessing Technician position at the General Campus. 

Rob says he was fortunate to work under former President(s) Bruce Waller, Rob Driskell and Lou Burri and hopes to keep working together at all levels with mutual respect and dignity to improve the lives and working conditions of our membership.
